Mary Beth Thorn was born and raised in Denver, CO. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from the University of Colorado in 1982 and earned a Masters of Medical Science from the Child Health Associate Program at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in 1985. From 1986-1998 she worked as a Pediatric Physician Assistant at Lovelace Health Systems in Albuquerque, NM. She joined Coastal Children’s Clinic in December 1998. Mary Beth lives in Oriental with her husband, Skip, and her daughters, Sara and Hannah. Mary Beth enjoys family activities, hiking, traveling, and gardening. MaryBeth serves patients from Vanceboro, Grantsboro, Ernul, Dover and Cove City in the New Bern Office.
