Dr. David T. Tayloe, III was born and raised in Goldsboro, North Carolina. He received his undergraduate degree from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1996 with a degree in Biology. Prior to starting medical school, Dr. Tayloe spent six years as a middle school and high school science teacher in Goldsboro, NC and Bolivia. After graduating from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in 2007, he completed his pediatric residency at the University of Colorado, Denver, CO. He lives in New Bern with his wife Betsy and their son Thomas. His interests include reading, traveling, hiking, boating and most outdoor sports.
