Dr. Gregory G. Gunsten was born in Hempstead, NY, and grew up in Commack, NY. In 1983, he received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Johns Hopkins University. He earned his MD degree from the Robert Woods Johnson Medical School in 1987 and completed his pediatric residency at the University of Maryland Medical Systems in 1990. Dr. Gunsten practiced for three years with Pediatric Associates in a small coastal town in New Jersey prior to joining Coastal Children’s Clinic in 1994. He, his wife, Ginger, and their daughter, Tory, enjoy living in New Bern.  He also enjoys biking, beaching and swimming.  Dr. Gunsten serves patients from all locations such as Vanceboro, Grantsboro, Ernul, Dover and Cove City in the New Bern Office and from Beaufort, Newport and Morehead City in our Havelock Office.
